ECURIE STUDIO
Domaine Saint Mars presents its Ecurie Studio. An 80sqm studio conceived and designed to offer an environment that is ideal for your musical creation and performance, whilst providing state of the art technology with which to capture it.
Ecurie is the French word for stables. These 19th century stables located in Domaine Saint Mars, in the luscious valley of Châlo Saint Mars (a classified quaint village 60km from Paris) were originally home to the horses of the neighbouring Château. With time, the stables became the local Postal Relay and have now been renovated, cosmetically and acoustically, into a cool and classy modern recording studio.
Facilities are available to suit a wide range of ambition and budget.
The Control Room
With natural light filtering through this is a cosy and relaxing space that looks directly into the live area and booth. It features a 16-8 vintage Trident analogue console, Protools HD3 system and KRK monitors. Plus our vast array of outboard and our extensive microphone collection. There is excellent visibility throughout the studio which is great when tracking bands.
The Live Room
The live room is accessed directly from the control room and consists of a large live area with a booth to the left. The booth is large enough to house a small kit. The large live room can also be used as a rehearsal space with its Mackee console and Lexicon, its various instruments amongst which Mokhtar Samba's signed drum kit, microphones, amplifiers and sides. A chill out zone with freshly ground coffee, refreshments and books for inspiration are also available.
The result is a studio complex that embraces the natural environment of light in an atmosphere that is far removed from the claustrophobic confines of urban studios. Contact us for Ecurie Studio specifications and price détails.
